A cherry may look like
a berry to you,
and a taste test might prove
that you haven't a clue!
With either, try making
some treats--you will find
a selection sufficient
to boggle your mind!
There are sundaes and shakes!
There is cheesecake galore!
There are tarts, pies and turn-
overs, fruitcakes and more!

A cherry may smell
like a berry to those
who have not had experience
using their nose!
But who can decide?
Won't you answer my plea?
Is a cherry a berry?
It's puzzling to me!

Edwin Seymour is a talented cartoonist and illustrator who lives in the Texas Panhandle.
